Wall Street must be responsible for all the regulations too...

So Wall Street is responsible for all the red tape that hurts jobs and employment? Apparently this ad thinks so. Government is never to blame for any of the financial problems that faces America. Well some people are deluded enough to think so. I would wonder what would happen if the corporations were able to hire and fire who they felt were worthy. I wouldn't have to wonder long as these companies would be doing a lot more hiring and a lot less firing. But if people don't believe that then they can continue to vandalize ad spaces on freeways. Great way to spend your time. I feel bad for this person because they must be truly depressed.

President civility is absent this election

This has to be one of the most uncivil elections in the history of elections. Presidential nominee Mitt Romney has been called a felon, an animal killer, a tax evader, and now a murderer. That's right, a murderer. In a recent video done by Obama's presidential campaign manager Stephanie Cutter she portrays Romney as directly responsible for laying off a steel worker whose wife then contracted cancer and died after they had no health insurance from being laid off. The only problem with this ad is it is completely false. Romney quit working for Bane Capital four years earlier. Another example of the absence of a "civil" president.

Gays boycott Chic-fil-A, but OPEC oil is okay

Chick-fil-A graffiti

As you can see not all people agreed with the civilized disagreement of gay marriage and decided to be uncivil in their dissaproval of Chic-fil-A's response to traditional marriage. So why the oil bit in the headline? While driving to school today I overhead the radio host on the Glenn Beck Program mention how the person that claimed credit for vandalizing the store drove to the store to get the paint, drove to Chic-fil-A to vandalize it, and then drove home. The whole time the individual drove their car they were most likely using oil from OPEC. The irony is that while Chic-fil-A disagrees peacefully with gays and marriage while employing gays and serving gays, OPEC nations like Saudi Aria, Iran, and others would execute someone just for being gay. So go ahead and boycott the peaceful franchise because they disagree with you, but use the fuel from the nations that would behead you given the opportunity.

Losing in order to win, but still losing in the end

Have you ever gotten an outdoor volleyball set, opened it only to discover some weird rackets with a weird feathery ball? That is badmiton. Where do people play badmiton? The Olympics of course, but not baseball. Anyway badmiton olypmic athletes are getting into the new fad of losing as a new strategy to winning. China, Indonesia, and South Korea all tried to lose in order to play an easier team, the problem was everyone knew what they were doing. Consequently there strategy didn't pay off when the Olympic committee watched and they banned them from further competition. Who knew that badmiton could be so controversial?

Obama is related to the first slave!

Apparently President Obama was declared by ancestry.org to be related to the first black slave in America! That is surprising and shocking. It is surprising  because I was unaware that there was ever proof of a "first black slave" in America. It is shocking because according to Ancestry.org it comes through President Obama's mother's side. For those who are not familiar with Obama and his family, Obama's mother was white. The other shocking information that comes from this story which has been plastered all over the news is that the information is not verifiable, but an educated guess. This story that is based on an educated guess made it into newspapers and magazines how exactly? Isn't there a code of ethics with journalism to prove everything BEFORE publishing it as news? Another example of the liberal media bias feeding the public a load of nonsense.

Didn't you know...

Didn't you know that a $6800 jacket is patriotic? Neither did I. Well the media thinks that when Michelle Obama shows up to the Olympic games in a $6800 jacket it is patriotic, but when Ann Romney wears a $990 blouse she is out of touch? The bias is almost laughable.

Chic-fil-A ALL THE WAY!

I wonder if someone was going to Chic-fil-A just for a chicken sandwich and when they got their there was a line going out the door for dine in and down the street for the drive thru. Today was appreciation day for Chic-fil-A's stance on traditional marriage and it was a major turn out as some restaurants were running out of food by 6 p.m. I attended one of the resturants in Sandy and felt good to see the support from everyone there. There was zero complaints as I waited in line for 30 minutes to get a sandwhich. People were there to make a statement and it paid off! way to go Chic-fil-A. I am a fan for life.

A Golden day for the Olympians!

Michael Phelps wins a gold today in the Olympics to officially make him the most decorated Olympian in world history. The U.S. gymnastics team beat out Russia to take home the gold for only the second time in U.S. history. Who doesn't love to watch the Olympics? If there are any I don't know them, nor do I want to.

England hosts Olympics by not showing up

On the Drudge it reported that the Olympics are being represented by England's complete lack of showing up to the events. If this is a way of showing support for the games they have a funny way of showing it. Click the link below to see some amazing pictures of some very empty seats!

Obama is struggling

I remember when the elections where a year away and everyone was saying how no one could be the president. That was before Wisconsin. Since then Obama has been either tied in all the swing states, or is losing in the polls. His following is losing their "hope" of him winning in November, while Romney is getting fired up! I was not a big Romney supporter when all this started, but he is showing the drive and determination needed to make Obama a one-term president.

Not My Buckyballs Now!

Now the government is moving beyond regulating everything they get their hands on now. They have recently come out and announced that the brand Buckyballs is too dangerous for children and the government is going to try and ban the product from being sold. For all those that are unfamiliar with Buckyballs check out the video.

The argument is a weak argument the government is making when it says children are swallowing the magnets and getting hurt. Well, the product does have warning labels on them so is it the companies fault or the parents? Another clear example of a government with nothing better to do than destroy the private sector.

People will do anything for a warm bed... behind bars!

I'm getting tired of depressing news in politics so every so often I will include a short snippet of some funny news. Today's news comes from KSL titled "Man charged for refusing to leave NC jail". The story is how a man refused to leave the jail, so the response by the police is to site him for trespassing? Isn't that feeding into what he wanted to do in the first place, which is to stay in the jail? Good times!

What is more concerning?

While reading an article on KSL.com it is interesting to take a look at the situation that was created by the White House when they leaked classified information to build up President Obama's tough foreign policy. The leak contained information about the President's "kill list" that the administration uses to hunt down those unfriendly to the U.S. My question is what is more concerning: the leaks that brought the information, or the fact that the White House has a "kill list"?

Tragety Met With Another Tragety

Don't think that there is an agenda with the media? How about after the shooting ABC decided, with no evidence whatsoever to back it up, to announce that the shooter may have had ties to the Tea Party. If you don't know if the information is correct does this mean that you just report it anyway? Would the response have been the same if it was a member of the ACLU (America Civil Liberties Union), or the New Black Panthers (who seem to get away with felonies because they are "brothas" according to Eric Holder)? Once again, its pretty obvious that the media has an agenda to support the liberal doctrine and demonize groups that are opposed to it such as the Tea Party.

Obama's "You Didn't Earn That" Speech

Here is part of the speech that came from the President last week. Sure we can all attribute that someone has helped us along the way, but to say that business owners like my parents didn't create and build their company is a joke. One thing is for sure, the government never helped to build it, the government was part of the problem when my parents tried to build their new business location there were so many regulations on how the building had to be a certain way that it cost my parents thousands of dollars and delayed the opening for months. This is more of the same class warfare and communistic attitude shining forth from our Marxist president.

Road to Success is Under Repair

If roads are where we credit our success according to our president then why are they always in disrepair and in need of repair? If ever there was a bad example of showing government success it would be the freeways and highways. I live in Utah and the government has funded road construction on I-15 for the past two years and the road will not be finished until December. It has been a chaotic nightmare to deal with as I commute through the worst of it on a daily basis. This construction has been the cause of accidents, delays and closures. How is this productive? Another example of the president's inability to connect with the American people, as well as trying to show the government as an effective government even when it is really ineffective.

Obama and Marx for 2012!

President Obama is no longer hiding who he really is, a communist. I have read the Communist Manifesto twice and while this does not make me an expert there are many similarities to the views held by Marx and Obama. Here are a few:  The rich are evil and didn't really earn their money - This sounds similar to a different title known as the Bourgeoisie. The poor area great people - This is very similar to the Proletariat. America is not really a great nation or is full of faults - This is obviously an attempt to limit the idea of nationalism, an idea that Marx approved of to promote class unity as opposed to national unity.  Class warfare is Obama's primary talking point - This is obviously a shared ideal of Marx.  There is no such thing as individual success according to Obama, but government instrumenting that success through projects it has done such as roads and infrastructure - Marx wasn't a fan of the government doing everything for you unless it is done by the working class government. These are just a few views that Obama shares with Marx. How he got into this position is a failure of the media and the public to seek out who he really is.

No gay scouts with Boy Scouts

The Boy Scout of America shined today with their announcement that they are not going to allow gays into their program. This is a great example of standing by your virtues. On the other hand, this shows why I find the gay movement so annoying and intrusive into everything we do. The leader of the Human Rights Campaign (aka gay forced rights), Chad Griffin said concerning the ruling "They've chosen to teach division and intolerance." No Chad, they chose to not cave on their principles. No Chad, they teach honesty and VIRTUE! Seriously Chad, have your read the Scout Law? The problem with people like Chad is their version of equality is forcing you to make every part of your life oriented around homosexuality. Sorry Chad but I am not supportive of your movement at all. Here is a thought to the gay community, create your own scouting program and call it the Gay Scouts of America. Leave the Boy Scouts organization ALONE!

Story: Despite Protests, Boy Scouts reaffirm ban on gays.

If you are wealthy you do not deserve t!

President Obama is as selfish as they come. Everywhere he goes and anyone he talks to (especially those he thinks that have a possibility of voting for him) is about how evil the rich are and how undeserving they are of their money. I would love to do a study of the percentage of Americans that President Obama speaks to that actually pay taxes. Odds are probably that you will have better than 50 percent chance of anyone not paying taxes because a majority of Americans don't. What this boils down to is not that its class-warfare, its not liberals vs. conservatives, but its simply pure selfish coveting of your neighbors possessions. Whatever your opinion may be, that money is not yours! Christ told us not to covet thy neighbor Mr. President, but I guess this makes sense that Obama hasn't followed Christs teachings because he obviously hasn't read the Constitution either.

U.S. Olympians Made in China

How could you do it U.S. Olympic Committee? You should be ashamed of yourselves, buying U.S. Olympic outfits that are made in China. By the way, can you pass the word along to the Chinese saying we need another 1.3 trillion dollar check made out to the United States Treasury? Capitol Hill yesterday seemed to be beside themselves when they were made aware of the fact that the U.S. outfits (which are awful) for the London Olympic ceremonies were made in China. Politicians as high as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid made some fiery remarks about how we should burn the uniforms and start over. This is your response to Chinese product being used by Americans Reid? Maybe you should burn the money they import to sustain your outrageous government spending  or is that not the same thing?

Black people are not smart enough according to chairwoman of NAACP

Just when racism could not get any wider in this county the NAACP ironically drives a sludge hammer into that wedge. Charlette Stoker Manning is the chairwoman of Women in the NAACP and she made some remarkable comments in response to presidential hopeful Romney's recent visit to their headquarters. Apparently, according to Manning black people aren't smart enough to talk about having savings accounts or being entrepreneurs? Really, can they get out of bed okay or does someone need to help them with that too? This is more of the same racist dialogue spewing from an agency that babies it supporters into thinking as Manning thinks, their too dumb to understand Romney and his "business talk." Maybe, the reason Romney got a standing ovation at the end was he didn't belittle or talk down to the black community, but treated them as equals in how he talks to everyone. There was nothing said there that was any different than what he says in Utah, Mass., and so forth. This is the way real people talk to each other. Way to go Romney!

Another wolf in sheep's clothing

Its hard to trust a government that continually masks its real intentions until its too late. Today, President Obama urges that he will protect all Americans making less than $250,000 a year from tax increases by years end. This sounds like a familiar promise that was shattered beyond recognition during the Obamacare debate when trying to get the bill passed. The White House and the liberal left kept saying (and still do say) that the mandate was not a tax, but as soon as they have to defend the bill in the Supreme Court it suddenly becomes a tax. The largest tax increase ever is about to impact everyone in 2014 (that's Obamacare in case you missed it), but the president wants Americans to be okay with doubling tax on those who create jobs and own the companies that employ a majority of Americans. That should do wonders for a struggling economy as companies will just raise prices and lay off employees to counter their loses.

The prescribed dosage to this continuing example of lies from the White House gets 2 out of 5 2x4's to the head!

Life's New Headache "The Political 2x4"

There is no headache compared to living the life of American politics. Everyday it seems people in politics do dumber things to drive those of us still sane to insanity. I struggle daily to understand the stupidity of American politics, but my common sense often gets in the way of fully understanding them. My prescription (although I hold no "legitimate" degree in medicine) to this problem is simple: grab a 2x4 and hit yourself over the head with it, sometimes repeatably. The prescribed dosage may increase depending on how outrageous the American politics can get. WARNING: you will have a substantial headache when you follow this blog! So sit back, grab a 2x4, and let the pain/relief (depending how you look at it) begin.
